New Businesses Coming To Harrisonburg

Ch, Ch, Ch, Changes

The business landscape is always evolving. While we are quite sad to see a few local businesses close in the past couple of months, we are excited about several new businesses opening in Harrisonburg!

First, just the facts ma’am – who’s coming and where are they locating:

  • Wizard Mode Brewcade - 140 E. Wolfe Street, beside the Friendly City Food Co-op.

  • Two Jays Kitchen and Bar - 241 E. Market Street in the former 3 Notch’d space.

  • Taaza Indian Cuisine - 1007 S. Main Street, across from the JMU quad.

  • Brighter Chiropractic - 1790 E. Market Street in the Kroger shopping center.


Wizard Mode Brewcade

Wizard Mode Brewcade will combine old school video games and pinball with a brewery and restaurant. The Brewcade is brought to you by the owners of Restless Moons Brewing. In addition to the arcade games thespace will have a retail store with board games, and a stage for live music

Two Jays Kitchen & Bar

Two Jays Kitchen and Bar will bring together Filipino favorites, LatinAmerican inspired foods, and American classics, all in a relaxed setting. Two Jays is a place where you can stop in for a quick lunch, meet friends for happy hour, bring your family out to dinner, celebrate life’s big moments or simply pull up a seat at the bar after a long day and feel like you belong.

Taaza Indian Cuisine

Taaza Indian Cuisine is ready to join the Harrisonburg restaurant scene! With a location in Roanoke, this will be Taaza’s second location. As Taaza put it, bigger vision, new experience, same authentic flavors.

Brighter Chiropractic

And last, but certainly not least, is Brighter Chiropractic, opening in August. Harrisonburg Economic Development supported Brighter with a $15,000 business loan. Brighter Chiropractic seeks to help individuals and families restore nervous system balance, reduce stress, and experience lasting transformation through gentle, precise chiropractic care.
